DigiSkills believes in inclusivity and participation of people from diverse ethnic, religious and economic backgrounds. Under this vision, an information session was organized at the head office of Pak Mission Society, Islamabad on October 16, 2019. Around 60 participants attended the session comprising of staff of Pak Mission Society as well as Christian youth belonging to urban slums of Islamabad. The audience was quite enthusiastic about freelancing and increasing their income through freelancing opportunities. They asked questions about the mechanism of freelancing websites and negotiations with the clients for freelance projects. The team helped the participants in creating email IDs and registration.
DigiSkills aims to organize more events for weak and marginalized communities to ensure that more people are benefited from this program.
