A panel discussion was conducted by DigiSkills.pk in association with Virtual University of Pakistan on 10-Feb-19 for the trainees who enrolled in the course AutoCAD. Mr. Syed Arif Hussain (the SME of AutoCAD), Mr. Suleman Zahid (Academics Expert) and Mr. Aman Ullah (Freelancing Expert) were invited to discuss the scope of AutoCAD course and the software itself in the growing freelance industry. The purpose of this Panel discussions was to enhance trainee’s engagement and further increase the outreach of this project.
Syed Arif Hussain is the SME of AutoCAD in DigiSkills Training Program. Mr. Arif obtained his Bachelors & Master’s degree from the Department of City and Regional Planning, University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore in 2014 and 2017 respectively. He received two Gold Medals from UET Lahore during his bachelor studies. He was awarded with two Gold Medals by Federal and Provincial governments because of excellent educational performance. He has been serving as a Lecturer in UET Lahore since 2014. He possesses great experience with AutoCAD projects including Planning and Designing of buildings, housing schemes and 3D modelling in 3D Max and AutoCAD. He conducted various workshops on different software in UET. He has four years of experience in teaching AutoCAD and other designing software to bachelor students.
Suleman Zahid is a highly motivated architect with a career in academia, he is working as a lecturer at Department of Architecture, University of south Asia. He is an arts and design professional with a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) while currently being enrolled in Master’s in Architecture program. He is skilled in AutoCAD, Photoshop, SketchUp, Lumion and 3ds Max.
Aman Ullah has a Bachelors (B.Tech) of Civil Engineering from Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan and MBA-Executive with specialization in management. He is an expert in creating 3d Interior, Exterior, Building Digital Sets/Environments, and Visualization with Additional skills in Texturing & UV Mapping, Animation, Lighting, Rendering & Walkthroughs. He has a strong grip in many software e.g. AutoCAD, 3D Max, SketchUp, Lumion 3DS software Management. He has 2 years of experience specialties in 3D / 2D Architectural and Project Management Services for Commercial, Institutional & Residential Projects with presentation skills in Dubai multinational firm. Also, he has a 3+ years of experience as freelancer on Fiverr working with UK brand (Haier).
