The second roadshow of DigiSkills was held at the University of Malakand, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on 12th July 2018. Most students in UoM are from middle-class families and due to being in an area far from the federal and provincial capital, people of Malakand are not presented with a lot of economic opportunities.
The core aim of this roadshow was to convey the inclusive nature of DigiSkills program, which aims to take opportunities to segments that are not currently well represented in the employment market. The areas covered in the orientation session were similar to the first one but what made this event different was an increased participation from female students despite the fact that Malakand is known as a conservative area.
