About

This course introduces the fundamental concepts of mobile games and application development using Flutter, a modern cross-platform framework developed by Google. It focuses on building high-performance applications for Android and iOS platforms from a single codebase. Students gain practical experience in designing, developing, and deploying interactive applications using the Dart programming language.

The course combines theoretical concepts with hands-on development activities to strengthen programming and problem-solving skills. Major topics include Flutter widgets, layouts, navigation, state management, local storage, API integration, Firebase services, and database management using Sqflite and Firestore. This course focuses on creating responsive user interfaces, managing application state efficiently, and integrating real-world features such as authentication, maps, and cloud services.

Students work on practical projects and case studies to develop complete mobile games and applications using industry-standard development practices. The course also introduces application deployment techniques on both Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

By the end of the course, learners will be able to design, develop, test, and maintain cross-platform mobile games and applications using Flutter and Dart. They prepare themselves for real-world mobile games and application development roles.

Ihtisham Ul Haq

Ihtisham Ul Haq  (Master of Science in Computer Science)

Ihtisham Ul Haq holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from FAST National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences. He is an experienced academic and software developer with a strong background in mobile and web application development. Throughout his teaching career, he has been associated with several leading universities in Pakistan, including the University of Lahore, the University of Management and Technology (UMT), and the University of Central Punjab (UCP).

 

In addition to his academic experience, Mr. Ihtisam has an extensive professional background in software engineering. He began his industry career as an Associate Software Engineer (Android Java) at Pentaloop. He later served as a Senior Mobile Developer specializing in cross-platform application development at Siscon Sapphire and currently works as a Senior Flutter Mobile App Developer at ArcLabs Solution. His expertise spans Flutter, Android development, React, Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB, RESTful APIs, and modern software engineering practices. Through his combined academic and industry experience, he continues to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world software development.

 

Mr. Ihtisham has taught a diverse range of computing courses including C++, Object-Oriented Programming, Java, Computer Organization and Assembly Language (COAL), Mobile Application Development using Java and Flutter, React.js, and MERN Stack Development. He has also supervised numerous Final Year Projects in areas such as MERN Stack applications, Kotlin-based Android development, Flutter mobile applications, and Python based FastAPI solutions. His teaching approach emphasizes practical implementation, industry-oriented skills, and project-based learning to prepare students for professional software development careers.

    • Implement state management solutions such as Riverpod to manage application data efficiently and build scalable applications.
    • Store and manage local application data using SharedPreferences and Sqflite databases while performing CRUD operations.
    • Integrate Firebase services including Authentication and Firestore for user management and cloud-based data storage.
    • Consume REST APIs, perform JSON parsing, create model classes, and display dynamic data from external services.
    • Implement location-based features using Google Maps, custom markers, and map APIs within Flutter applications.
    • Integrate Generative AI capabilities using Gemini API to build intelligent chatbot applications and AI-powered features.
    • Design, develop, test, debug, and deploy complete Flutter games following industry-standard development practices.
